I went to The Mall yesterday. The original plan was to watch Fault in Our Stars but we we late for the movie. So my husband decided to go shoes shopping. I got bored and left him for the bookstore. Upon entering the bookstore, the first thing I saw was The Love Detective by Alexandra Potter. I've read couple of her books and kinda like her. So I picked up the book.
The synopsis is interesting though I can't remember what's it about while typing this. Hehe. So I just bought the book, went to McDonald and went home.
I started reading it and stopped at page 14. It's kinda slow or maybe I was hungry and I can't concentrate on my reading. Or maybe I am still having book hangover from Attachment.
I believed it mostly the latter. I just can't get enough of Lincoln and Beth. Hehe. These two are so hot together and the fact that their real love story only started in the second last chapter is excruciating. Oh well...
Since I am doing nothing at work at the moment, I think I need to start on oThe Love Detective. See if I can find the ePub version of it in my iPad. Plus, I need to do something just so my energy won't go wasted.
“And doing nothing takes more energy than you’d think. I’m tired all the time.” - Lincoln (from Rowell, Rainbow. “Attachments.” Penguin, 2011. iBooks)
That is now my favourite quote when explaining why I am constantly tired.
Till then.
Aa.
