It was for my Business Writing Training at work. I think I took more that one hour to complete the test which consists of 50 multiple choices questions and 3 short essays of less than 300 words. I did not write more than 100 words for each essay though. I was too lazy to think about how to structure the essay. That was the first lesson we had on last training. I guess, writing is not my thing. I did well in my English exam when I was in school. In fact I scored a strong B for my English O level, which was good enough for me. Yet, when I took a close look to my result breakdown, I almost failed the writing part. Nevertheless, my oral English and comprehension part were strong enough to push my grade to a B.
Anyway, I hope I will pass this test with a good grade. If not, it would be an embarrassment as it was supposed to be an easy test for someone who reads and writes in English for whole her academic life.
Fingers cross.
I also went out to watch Transformers: Age of Extinction in the afternoon after our HR manager allowed us to take the rest of the afternoon off. Honestly, I did not put any expectation on the movie as the last Transformers movie broke my heart. Well, it was mostly because Megan Foxx was not there and a random model replaced her yet I did not see the relevance of her character in it. I am making a conclusion here, every Transformers movie need to have a hot girl in it. Maybe it's like a signature thing for Transformers, I don't know.
But this Transformers is surprisingly awesome despite that they changed the whole cast. Alright, it was awesome because having Mark Walhberg in it is somehow refreshing and it feels new. Oh and I like the character of the villain who is not so villain. I like this actor, though I don't know his name. But I think I have watched him in some movies and he is funny. It's like watching Mark Wahlberg other movies and not Transformers! Sorry robots but you guys kinda look tired and boring too.
Wow, I have mentioned Mark Wahlberg twice. Did you know that I like watching him acting and watched some movies of him yet I never knew his name until my colleague told me? I am hopeless when it comes to naming actors/ actresses but enjoy their movies. Mark Wahlberg and the not so villain character and the Chinese lady are awesome and funny and they make me forgot the rest of the cast, the racer and the Yeager's daughter. I can't even remember their characters' name by now. Oh well.
Anyways, I read another book by Rainbow Rowell - Attachment. I love this one compare to first one I read. Apperantly, Attachment is her debut novel. I fell in love with the leading character Lincoln who has no social life, tired of his job though he has nothing to do, sweet, good listener, cute and I think he is a guys ever girl asks for. He is in love with Beth whom he never saw.
I was thinking, earlier today, if I were to write a review on Attachment, I will do it in another post. Anyways, I am re-reading some parts of the book because I was rushing towards the ending and niece and nephews ambushed my bedroom last night hence I lost focus.
Till then.
