Kopi.

I am no fan of caffeine. But working can get tough sometimes caused I am always sleepy in the office. So I need coffee to help me to stay alert.

We have good quality coffee beans and coffee machine. And our office smells like coffee shops. However, we always run out of coffee. Hence we resorted to Nescafe Gold. But yesterday, we did not have any Nescafe Gold left so we have to drink Nescafe. No one likes nescafe. They say its no good. Alright. I was too sleepy yesterday and made myself a cup of nescafe. I sipped it and I feel like spitting. It was bad. It tastes bad. I don't understand. It tasted like I don't even know what. Its not bitter. But its like drinking some of slimming tea but worst and smell like grass?

I thought I grew up on nescafe. That, my father and grandmother always drink it for breakfast. My mother made us nescafe everyday during our school year. My cousin even remind us on how we used to eat rice with kupi (nescafe). Okay, I know its weird. But its kind of family thing.

Maybe it was not nescafe that I had when I was younger. Maybe it was different brand of coffee. Or maybe I am so used to Coffee Bean or Starbucks. Or maybe I've been drinking freshly brewed coffee beans from expensive coffee machine for the past few years. I don't know. Hence the title kopi. Cause I always think coffee are all the same. Or maybe I am no good at appreciating various taste (or smell) of different coffee defo I assumed all coffee are the same and it brings me to expect nescafe to tasted as good as lavazza. I have no answer for that.
